  I am writing this as a humble note of appreciation for the outstanding customer service provided by your staff two days ago (30th June 2017) at the Nunawading store. I had an issue with my vacuum cleaner. I was first attended by Elias who was warm and friendly. I explained the issue I had. Elias, without any hesitation, took the trouble to test the vacuum cleaner. Upon figuring out the problem and the fact that the warranty period was expiring that day, he and his colleague Michael emailed the vacuum cleaner company. Due to their quick response my old vacuum cleaner was replaced with a new one. I am writing this note because i appreciate the time and trouble both Elias and Michael took to go through this process. They could have easily told me to contact the vacuum cleaner company myself, especially considering that the store was very busy at the time. Instead, they both took the time and trouble to make sure that their old customer was not left in the dark.

  Having needed to buy a washing machine I did a quick price comparison online and discovered that Harvey Norman were very competitively priced. I rang Harvey Norman Nunawading to confirm that they had stock of particular brand/model I was after, because I knew I could get next day delivery and it was my preference to shop here as I have been supporting this store for 15 plus years and only ever had great service. I spoke with Troy and yes there was stock. Five minutes later I was in store looking at washing machines. I asked for Troy and had a quick run down on my options. I also discovered for an extra $12 I could have my old machine taken away. The old machines are recycled and the money made is donated to a charity. A win win for me. Having decided on what I wanted, we proceeded to check out. Troy then mentions that he is the Director of this store and was really grateful for all the positive feedback I provided even when I had no idea what position he held. I was so impressed that Troy was happy to work the floor and be one of the team. I can see why the culture in the store is so great, it comes from the top down, just the way it should be. Thank you Troy for making my day. I was pretty upset that I had to unexpectedly buy a new washing machine having had to buy a new fridge only months before. You made the experience so much easier!!! Looking forward to receiving my new washing machine tomorrow so I can get through the ever growing mountain of washing :)
